Event Details:

• First, we will enjoy an interpretive ~2-3 mile hike while we learn about the natural history of the area.
• Around lunchtime, the group will break for an hour to have lunch on their own. Picnic areas are available throughout the day use area of Bulls Island. There is also the option to walk across the foot bridge into PA and for lunch at the Lumberville General Store.
• Following lunch, we will set out on an on-water adventure. We will paddle about 3 miles down the D&R Canal, while taking in the views and wildlife along the way.

What to Bring:

• Hiking shoes
• Paddling is a get wet sport - be sure to bring shoes/clothing you are okay with getting wet
• Water
• Bug repellent
• Sunscreen
• Packed Lunch or plans to purchase at the Lumberville General Store. 

Important Information:

• Children must be 12 years or older and accompanied by an adult.
• $25.00 registration fee
• Use of single or tandem kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and shuttle back to Bulls Island from the take out point will be provided as part of registration fee.
• We have 14 single kayaks and 2 tandem kayaks. Tandem kayaks are first come, first served.
